The Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar is opening a new patient tower next month.
The seven-floor tower, opening in March, will increase the hospital’s capacity from 120 licensed acute care beds to 202 and will be located at 36485 Inland Valley Drive.
The tower is being opened to address the region’s growing demand for specialized services such as cardiac catheterization laboratory services, occupational therapy services, physical therapy, radiological services, nuclear medicine service, surgical services, respiratory care and social services.
According to hospital officials, the closest comparable facilities also contracted with Medicare/Medi-Cal are Rancho Springs Hospital, Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta, Menifee Global Medical Center and Temecula Valley Hospital.
