Organizers for the Palm Springs International Film Festival announced dates Friday for the 38th annual festival, slated for next year at the Convention Center.
The festival will be held from Jan. 7 through Jan. 18 at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.
Officials said film screenings will begin Jan. 8, with an opening night presentation scheduled for that evening, and closing night will take place Jan. 17. The last day will feature “Best of Fest” and other special programming.
Additionally, officials announced that Palm Springs International ShortFest, a seven-day competitive festival of several hundred short films, will be held from June 23 until June 29, 2026.
Nearly all honorees at the 2026 film awards have received Academy Award nominations, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Timothee Chalamet, Jessie Buckley, Jacob Elordi, Kate Hudson and Elle Fanning.
Festival passes will go on sale Aug. 1.
