The Palm Springs Air Museum will team with the French Embassy to host a Fourth of July celebration Saturday followed by a Coachella Valley flyover.
The “July 4th Allies in Liberty” event is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the air museum at 745 N. Gene Autry Trail, and entry is included with general admission, which is $25 for adults 18-64, $23 for children 13-17, a free for kids 12 and younger. Seniors and veterans and retired military enter at discounted price, and active duty and immediate family receive free admission.
During the event, the French Consulate will give a presentation that will be followed by live music. Food vendors will also be present at the event.
The Fouga CM.170 Magister from the French Aerobic Team will be on display and during the event, PSAM’s C-47 “What’s Up Doc” along with two P-51 Mustangs, “Bunny” and “Man O’ War” will depart for a salute in the Wings of Freedom Flight valley-wide flyover.
