The Spanish-language uniforms are among the elements of the NBA’s ninth annual Latin nights program, “Noches Enebea” celebrating the growing support of NBA fans and players across Latin America and the U.S. Hispanic communities.

“We take immense pride in the initiatives and programs we’ve undertaken with Spanish-speaking and Hispanic communities throughout our history, and are happy to continue these efforts by participating in this league program,” Lakers President Jeanie Buss said in a statement.

The “Los Lakers” jerseys are available for purchase at Staples Center and online at NBAStore.com.

In addition to the Lakers, the other seven participating teams, and their team name as spoken by the Latin population are Chicago (“Los Bulls”); Miami (“El Heat”); Houston (“Los Rockets”); New York (“Nueva York”); Phoenix (“Los Suns”); San Antonio (“Los Spurs”); and Washington (“Los Wizards”).
