A special loaded hot dog will be available at Dodger Stadium for Monday night’s Los Angeles Dodgers-Arizona Diamondbacks game in connection with Firefighter Appreciation Night.

The Firehouse Dog is a quarter-pound all-beef hot dog smothered in spicy nacho cheese sauce and topped with jalapeno wheels and flaming hot Cheetos. It will be available at the Extreme Loaded Dog concession areas on the field, loge and reserve levels.

Information on a special ticket package offer consisting of a discounted ticket, Dodger Firefighter Appreciation Night T-shirt and an invitation to a pregame reception at Dodger Stadium’s 76 station is available at dodgers.com/firefighter.

The deadline to purchase the ticket package is 11:59 p.m. today.

A portion of the price of each ticket purchased through this offer will go to the California Fire Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides emotional and financial assistance to families of firefighters killed in the line of duty, support to their departments and is also involved in a variety of assistance programs to fire victims.

Smokey Bear will pose for pictures with fans in the left and right field plazas.

Kenny Landreaux, an outfielder on the Dodgers’ 1981 World Series championship team, will sign autographs in the left field pavilion plaza from 5- 7 p.m.

The national anthem will be sung by Bryce Ryness, the lead in the national tour of the Tony-winning musical “Matilda,” which is playing at the Ahmanson Theatre through July 12.

Basketball Hall of Fame member Lisa Leslie will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

The Military Hero of the Game will be U.S. Air Force Lt. Col. Walter Jimenez of Long Beach who has served in 10 nations and four states on nine assignments in a 23-year career.

Jimenez began his Air Force career as a nuclear missile operations officer in Montana. He later served assignments as a missile test officer, launch director, missile attack early warning operator, flew spy satellites and was program manager for a major defense weapons program.

Jimenez is stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base near Lompoc, where he is involved with satellite rocket launches and nuclear missile operations.

Auto gates will open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 5:10 p.m. for the 7:10 p.m. game. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 6:55 p.m.
