Officials with the Oakland Raiders, who had been working with the Chargers on a proposed shared stadium in Carson that was rejected by NFL owners, congratulated Inglewood officials following the approval of a stadium in that city.
“The Raiders congratulate (Rams owner) Stan Kroenke and the Rams on their successful bid for relocation to Los Angeles,” according to a statement issued by the team Tuesday.
“The Raiders will now turn our attention to exploring all options to find a permanent stadium solution,” according to the team. “We thank fans through the Raider Nation for their unrivaled passion and support.”
