Longtime Los Angeles Kings announcer Bob Miller underwent successful quadruple heart bypass surgery, the team announced.

The 77-year-old Miller was taken to intensive care after the four-hour operation Tuesday.

“Everything went well,” a team official said.

Miller’s family is grateful for the great news and the tremendous amount of well wishes they have received, the official said.

Miller has been a Kings announcer since 1973.
