
Ziggy Marley will perform an approximately 20-minute concert on top of the Los Angeles Dodgers dugout before Saturday night’s game against the St. Louis Cardinals at Dodger Stadium.
The seven-time Grammy winning reggae artist will also throw the ceremonial first pitch, six days before the release of his self-titled album.
DJ Adam will provide musical entertainment in the right field plaza, DJ Anthony Valdez in the right field reserve area, the Bear Bass band will perform in the left field reserve area and airbrush face painting will be offered in the left field plaza from 4-6 p.m.
The Military Hero of the Game will be U.S. Navy Lt. Rod Hernandez of Los Angeles. Hernandez has been deployed numerous times throughout the Pacific, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, along with the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command in Hawaii, the U.S. Central Command in Tampa, Florida, and the Navy Expeditionary Warfare Development Center in Coronado.
The first 40,000 fans in attendance will receive a replica of Dodger Stadium.
Auto gates will open at 3:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 4:10 p.m. The Dodgers will take batting practice from 3:20-4:20 p.m. and the Cardinals from 4:25-5:20 p.m.
The pregame concert will begin at approximately 5:35 p.m. Pregame ceremonies, including the national anthem and ceremonial first pitch, will begin at 5:57 p.m., with the game set to start at 6:10 p.m.
