Billy Joel will play a concert at Dodger Stadium on May 13, performing at the venue for the first time, Live Nation announced Thursday.

The show, Joel’s only planned Los Angeles appearance in 2017, will be part of a spring and summer tour that will also take the 67-year-old singer and songwriter to other iconic baseball parks, including Chicago’s Wrigley Field and Boston’s Fenway Park, both of which Joel has played before.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 13, with presale tickets available to American Express cardholders on Monday at 10 a.m.

The Dodgers reached a deal last year with Oak View Entertainment, a company formed by businessman Tim Leiweke and music industry titan Irving Azoff, to bring more big-name music concerts to Dodger Stadium.

The venue has hosted many concerts going back to the 1960s by such legendary acts as the Beatles, Elton John, the Bee Gees, the Rolling Stones, U2, AC/DC and others.

The Dodgers will be on the road at the time of Joel’s concert.
