KTLA-TV Channel 5 will simulcast five SportsNet LA broadcasts of Los Angeles Dodgers games this season, beginning with the second game of the season, March 30 against the San Francisco Giants.

The other games to be broadcast on KTLA will be April 7, also against the Giants, April 13 against the Arizona Diamondbacks, April 21 against the Washington Nationals, and April 28 against the Giants, he regional sports network announced Friday.

SportsNet LA’s Dodger coverage is exclusively available on Charter Communications’ Spectrum service. Other distributors are not expected to carry SportsNet LA this season, according to Stacey Mitch of SportsNet LA.

The inability of Charter Communications, which jointly owns SportsNet LA with the Dodgers, and Time Warner Cable, SportsNet LA’s owner from 2014 to May 2016, to increase distribution of the regional sports network has angered the many Dodger fans who have been left unable to watch the telecasts.
