
Admission will be free for a two-day women’s basketball tournament at CSUN beginning Friday to bolster efforts to stock the university’s food pantry.
Fans attending the 10th annual Warner Center Marriott Thanksgiving Basketball Classic at CSUN’s Matadome are asked to bring canned goods.
The CSUN Food Pantry provides food and toiletries for CSUN students, faculty and staff in need in an attempt to minimize the academic impact of food insecurity and hunger.

The tournament begins at 5 p.m. with a game between Harvard and Jacksonville State. CSUN will face Washington State in the other semifinal at 7:30 p.m.
If Jacksonville State wins, the championship game on Saturday will be at 3:30 p.m. If the Gamecocks lose, the championship game will be the second game at 6 p.m.
