A Silver Alert was issued Friday for an 85-year-old man who suffers from a medical condition and could become disoriented.
Zerai Equbatsion was last seen about 1:30 p.m. near Bushnell and West Commonwealth avenues in Alhambra, and is believed to be on foot, the California Highway Patrol said.
Equbatsion was described as 5-feet, 7-inches tall and 150 pounds with brown eyes.
Equbatsion, who uses a cane, may be wearing a black hoodie, sweatpants and tennis shoes, CHP said.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts was asked to call 911.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals, according to the California Highway Patrol.
