Multiple game-used items from Dodgers star Shohei Ohtani brought big results at auction this weekend, organizers said Sunday.
A bat photo-matched to five home runs from Ohtani’s 2024 season set a new auction record for any Ohtani bat when it sold for $300,000 at CP Auctions 2025 Fall Premier event, which ended Saturday night.
The ball hit out of Dodger Stadium during Ohtani’s historic 2025 NLCS Game 4 performance took in $270,000.
SCP also offered the clutch home run balls hit by the Dodgers in Game 7 of the 2025 World Series. Will Smith’s game-winning home run sold for $168,000, while Miguel Rojas’ game-tying bomb went for $156,000.
Other significant game-used items were sold, including the late Kobe Bryant’s shoes from Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals, which brought $54,000, a 1965-68 Willie Mays game-used bat for $48,000, and a Shohei Ohtani game-used bat photo-matched to two games during his first MVP season in 2021 for the Angels, which sold for $45,000.
