Overnight lane closures were scheduled to begin next week on Pacific Coast Highway south of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in the Pacific Palisades area.
Only one lane will be open in each direction of PCH between Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Coastline Drive from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly from Monday through next Friday, Sept. 25, for continuing work on a $15 million slope repair project , according to Caltrans.
Crews will “reconstruct the embankment with geosynthetic reinforcement,” build rock slope protection and rebuild parts of the road, the agency advised.
The project will continue though spring of 2027.
