Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision in Riverside, authorities said Saturday.
The crash was reported at 9:12 p.m. Friday in the area of Sycamore Canyon Boulevard and Quail Run Road, according to Battalion Chief Jeff DeLaurie of the Riverside Fire Department.
First responders saw two vehicles with major damage blocking the intersection and one patient ejected into the street.
Firefighters found a female patient in her 30s with critical injuries laying in the intersection, DeLaurie said.
They immediately began treating the patient and took her to an area hospital in critical condition, he said. It was not known whether she had her seat belt on at the time of the collision.
Two other people — a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman — were treated and taken to area hospitals in moderate condition, he said.
