Two people were hurt Wednesday morning when the vehicle they were riding in crashed into a home in Moreno Valley, but only one was taken to a hospital.
A total of 18 firefighters responded to the 14000 block of Cholla Drive about 2 a.m. and found the vehicle well into the single-story home, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Paramedics found two patients in the vehicle. One was evaluated on scene and declined further treatment and the second was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, the fire department said.
The American Red Cross was brought into assist the five adults and one child who were forced out of the home. No one in the home was reported injured.
The cause of the crash was under investigation by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
