Kaiser Permanente mental health clinicians said they will expand their picket lines to 10 locations across California Wednesday as their five-day strike enters its third day.
Psychologists, social workers, therapists, psychiatric nurses and other healthcare professionals represented by the National Union of Healthcare Workers will march in picket lines from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. In Los Angeles, their target is the West Los Angeles Medical Center at 6041 Cadillac Drive, according to a union statement.
Similar action will take place in Riverside, Roseville, San Diego, Redwood City, San Leandro, Fresno, Santa Rosa, Vallejo and Walnut, according to the statement.
