The Riverside County coroner’s office Sunday released the name of the driver of a pickup who was ejected during a rollover crash in Temecula that also injured three juveniles.
Matthew Creed, 32, was a Temecula resident, the coroner said.
The crash was reported at 9:07 a.m. Saturday at De Portola Road and Calle Arboles, in a neighborhood, Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Raemie Wood said.
The single-vehicle crash was discovered by a deputy on patrol, Wood said.
Three juveniles in the truck suffered injuries ranging from minor to moderate and were taken to a hospital, Riverside County Fire Department officials said.
“The preliminary investigation determined the white Ford F150 was traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on De Portola Road when it struck the center median curb, causing the vehicle to roll over,” Wood said. The driver now identified as Creed was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
