Tires, green waste, bags of trash and electrical waste are among the refuse items that can be dumped for free on Saturday at Bagdouma Park in Coachella.
“We are happy to help residents get an early start on spring cleaning,” said Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez. “This is the perfect opportunity to get rid of unwanted items that can’t be collected during regular trash pickups.”
Residents will be required to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s license or recent utility bill, in order to dump their refuse.
Community Cleanup Day will happen from 8 a.m. to noon at the swim center parking lot at Bagdouma Park, 51251 Douma St.
