An injured hiker was rescued Saturday from the Ladder Canyon Trail in Thermal, authorities said.
The incident was reported about 1 p.m. about 1.5 miles into Ladder Canyon, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The hiker suffered minor to moderate injuries, fire officials said.
A California Highway Patrol helicopter was used to move the patient from the canyon to a ground ambulance for transport to a hospital, fire officials said.
