A man fatally struck on the Pomona (60) Freeway in Riverside while out of his vehicle was identified Monday as a 25-year-old Redlands resident.
The crash was reported just before 10 p.m. Sunday on the westbound Pomona Freeway west of Market Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A witness told the CHP a truck and sedan were stopped on the right-hand shoulder and that people were out of a vehicle, standing in the HOV lane and that a man — identified as Chalacan Flores — had been run over.
Flores died at the scene.
