At least one person was injured Friday when an SUV and pickup collided in Palm Desert.
The crash was reported at 4:25 p.m. at the intersection of Varner Road and Washington Street, just north of Interstate 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Ford F-150 pickup ended up blocking a portion of the roadway, the CHP said.
Paramedics were called to the scene, but additional information about injuries was not immediately available.
Tow trucks were called for both vehicles.
