The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped one-tenth of a cent Saturday to $3.132 after rising seven of the past 10 days to its highest amount since March 24.
The average price rose 3.8 cents over the previous 10 days, including four-tenths of a cent on Friday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It dropped one-tenth of a cent July 23 and was unchanged both Sunday and Monday.
The average price is 1.4 cents more than a week ago and 8.7 cents higher than one month ago, but 46.4 cents less than one year ago. It has dropped 37.6 cents since the start of the year.
