A car caught fire on the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway in the Badlands Monday, snarling traffic, but no injuries were reported.
The car fire was reported at 10:18 a.m. in the westbound slow lane east of Gilman Springs Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Riverside County Fire Department personnel extinguished the flames, and the lane was reopened by 10:52 a.m., the CHP reported.
