A motorcyclist crashed into a parked truck Monday near Coachella but escaped serious injury, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 1:15 p.m. on Avenue 55 near Van Buren Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP said the unidentified rider suffered injuries described as minor.
