A big rig struck a woman in Banning Wednesday.
The collision was reported about 11:10 a.m. near the area of Sunset Avenue and Interstate 10, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials could not immediately confirm the extent of the pedestrian’s injuries or whether she was hit on the interstate or nearby roadway.
The incident remains under investigation.
