Fire engulfed the garage of a home in Rancho Mirage Wednesday evening and burned for about an hour before being extinguished.
Firefighters responded to the 70000 block of Fairway Drive, near Highway 111, at 9:51 p.m. and found the garage fully involved with fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The flames were contained at 10:49 p.m. and no injuries were reported, the department said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
