Firefighters extinguished a fire that was burning in a batch of 100 bales of hay Sunday in Moreno Valley.
The blaze in the hay started in the 27000 block of Eucalyptus Avenue was reported at 5:40 p.m., according to Cal Fire Riverside.
Firefighters knocked the flames down in about 33 minutes, Cal Fire reported. Firefighters will remain on scene for about an hour to deal with any hotspots.
