Three people suffered moderate injuries Sunday during a crash involving a commercial vehicle on westbound Interstate 10, west of Chiriaco Summit.
Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the westbound freeway at 4:49 a.m., where three people were extricated from the commercial vehicle and rushed to an area hospital with moderate injuries, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
The California Highway Patrol was investigating the crash.
