Long Beach police are investigating a shooting in which someone fired at a group of men and fled the scene in a vehicle prior to the arrival of officers, authorities said Saturday.
No one was injured in the shooting, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
Officers dispatched at about 11:50 p.m. Friday to a gunshot heard in the area of 100 Promenade North contacted a group of men who said they were in a fight with the suspect, who retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and fired shots at them.
Police had no description of the suspect or his vehicle.
