A pedestrian who was fatally struck by an Amtrak train in Glendale was publicly identified Tuesday.
Zaven Abramyan, 68, of Glendale died around noon Monday at the scene in the area of Grandview Avenue and San Fernando Road, according to the Glendale Police Department.
Abramyan was walking along the tracks at the time, police said. It was unclear why.
