An Amber Alert was activated for a 3-month-old baby abducted in Alhambra Friday.
Cayden Ramey was last seen at approximately 5:25 p.m. Friday near Hampden Terrace and Sherwood Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Alhambra Police Department.
Cayden was described as a 21-inch-long baby weighing 17 pounds with brown hair and green eyes.
Cayden was last seen wearing long-sleeve blue shorts and green sweatpants.
Authorities said Cayden is believed to be with an unidentified suspect described as approximately 30 years old, 5 feet,10 inches tall, with a medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue-and-black pants, and carrying a black backpack.
Authorities said the two are possibly traveling in a 2015 black Honda Civic with California license plate 7KFZ167.
The relationship between the suspect and Cayden, if any, was not provided.
Anyone with information regarding Cayden or the suspect was urged to call 911.
The CHP describes Amber Alerts as “the most serious alerts we can issue involving children.” They require specific evidence that the child is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.
