The National Weather Service is forecasting a near perfect winter day Saturday in the Southland, with sun and mild temperatures.
The forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for highs in the mid 60s to lower 70s. It will be clear overnight Saturday with lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s.
Coastal Orange County will be mostly sunny with highs around 68 and light winds. It will turn partly cloudy overnight with lows 44 to 49.
While the weather will be perfect this weekend, the weather service said high pressure is building and residents can expect a warming trend beginning early next week that will “push temperatures to or near record levels.”
