If you liked Monday’s weather, you’re going to be happy with Tuesday’s.

There are more low clouds and fog in store for us with beach highs in the 60s and inland highs in the low to mid-70s.

But just wait a few days: We’re about to enter a warming trend and we could see high temperatures later this week and into the weekend in the 80s around the Southland.

The National Weather Service  says our overnight lows are still going to be chilly, with Tuesday night expected to have low clouds and fog developing early. Lows around 60. Southwest winds around 15 mph in the evening.

The forecast for Wednesday calls for low clouds and fog in the morning clearing to the beaches in the afternoon. Highs from the mid 60s to around 70 at the beaches to the mid 70s to around 80 inland.

In Coastal Orange County the forecast for Tuesday calls for a cloudy morning and then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs 66 to 71.

Tuesday night it will be partly cloudy in the evening, then becoming cloudy. Patchy fog overnight. Lows 56 to 61.

Wednesday it will be cloudy in the morning and then becoming partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. Highs 68 to 73.

The ultraviolet index level in the Los Angeles area for Tuesday is a high 9, according to the weather service. high exposure level reading of 7-9 means that a person could be sunburned in 7-8 minutes.
