West-facing beaches around Los Angeles can expect 7-foot surf through Monday, with minor flooding possible during high tides.

The National Weather Service office in Oxnard warned of strong rip currents and sneaker waves, and predicted high tides up to 6.5 feet.

The surf will be even higher along the Central Coast, with sets up to 13 feet.

The forecast for central Los Angeles from Malibu to Long Beach calls for partly cloudy conditions Saturday with highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s. Lows overnight will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s, and there will be a slight chance of rain after midnight.

Coastal Orange County will be mostly sunny with highs 70 to 75. Lows overnight night will be around 60.
