A pedestrian was fatally injured by a Metro train Wednesday in the Westlake area of Los Angeles, authorities said.
Paramedics were sent to the 600 block of South Alvarado Street about 10:45 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally injured person, who died at a hospital.
Some delays were reported involving Metro B and D Line trains in the area while an investigation was conducted.
