A 50-year-old man shot and killed himself after wounding his wife at a self-storage facility in Burbank, a police spokesman confirmed Tuesday.
The attempted murder-suicide took place about 12:50 p.m. Monday at the Affordable Storage RV lot at 3615 San Fernando Blvd., said Burbank police officer Joshua Kendrick.
The man died inside a a cab of a tractor trailer at the scene and his 47- year-old wife was transported to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds. She was expected to survive, Kendrick said.
Police have not released their names or any details regarding the nature of what led to the gunfire.
