A truck fire on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Lake View Terrace Saturday temporarily shut down all westbound lanes just west of the Osborne Street on-ramp.
The truck fire was reported at 5:15 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fire spread from the truck close to homes in the area, the CHP reported. The Los Angeles Fire Department was called to the scene.
The CHP issued a SigAlert and was diverting traffic off the freeway at Sunland Boulevard.
No injuries were immediately reported.
The CHP reopened one westbound lane around 8:20 p.m.
There was no word on when the other lanes would reopen.
