Married three times, Jane Fonda didn’t need a divorce when she split with her latest lover. She and music-producer partner Richard Perry had been together eight years without a ring.

“Fonda, 79, and Perry, 74, started dating in 2009 and fell in love while he helped her recover from a knee surgery,” said People magazine, among those reporting the “amicable” split.

“In a video interview for Oprah.com, the actress says that she went to L.A. ‘to get a new knee and ended up with a new lover.’”

The former couple moved out of their five-bedroom Beverly Hills house and listed it for sale. It’s listed for $12.995 million by Jade Mills and Valerie Fitzgerald of Coldwell Banker Previews International, according to RIS Media.

“Fonda even made an accompanying video to go along with the house listing, in which she describes the moment she knew it was perfect for her and Perry.”

Fonda was married first to French film director Roger Vadim in 1965, then activist Tom Hayden in 1973 and finally CNN founder Ted Turner in 1991.

Her biggest starring moment recently was at Saturday’s massive Women’s March in Los Angeles.
