A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and killed Monday in the Rowland Heights area, and an investigation was underway.
The person was injured about 5:50 a.m. at Colima and Fullerton roads and died at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol. Information on the person’s identity was not immediately available.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted.
