The death of a man in Downey is being treated as suspicious, authorities said Wednesday.
The victim was admitted to Downey Regional Medical Center Tuesday night, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Deputy Crystal Hernandez said.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were assisting South Gate Police Department in the investigation, Hernandez said.
The cause of death and the location where the victim was originally found were not immediately known, Deputy Trina Schrader said.
