A fire damaged a vacant duplex in the South Los Angeles area Wednesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 4000 block of South Main Street at 6:44 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 17 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
