Los Angeles police Wednesday released photos of a suspect wanted in connection with an armed robbery of a woman in her Sherman Oaks driveway.

The robbery occurred on May 5 about 8 a.m. in the 4800 block of Katherine Avenue, police said.

The woman was in the driveway of her house when a man with a handgun walked up to her, pointed it at her and took property.

The license plates were orange, yellow and white from an unknown state.

The suspect was described as a 40-year-old Armenian man with a light beard. He was described as being about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, and weighed about 200 pounds.

He was wearing a white T-shirt, black running pants and black shoes.

He is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about the robbery was asked to call Detective J. Case at (818) 374-0079 or the Van Nuys Division Watch Commander at (818) 374- 9500.
