Two Los Angeles police officers who were in a squad car that crashed in Jefferson Park Friday escaped serious injury.
The crash was reported just after 1 a.m. in the 1800 block of Exposition Boulevard, near Gramercy Place, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which reported taking two people to hospitals.
The officers were not seriously injured in the two-vehicle collision, according to the LAPD.
It was not immediately clear if the officers were on a call or if the squad car’s lights or siren were deployed at the time of the crash.
