A 20-year-old man was shot four times in Koreatown early Sunday morning by suspects who drove by and fired multiple rounds from a vehicle, a police sergeant said.
The shooting happened at 1:50 a.m. at 4th Street and Kenmore Avenue, said Sgt. J. Powers of the Los Angeles Police Department‘s Olympic Station.
The victim told police there were four men in a Honda Accord, Powers said.
More than four shots were fired, he said. Two rounds hit the victim in the chest and one round hit him in the right rib and the shin.
The man was in critical condition when transported to County-USC Medical Center, Powers said.
Investigators were canvassing the area in search of witnesses, he said. The shooting may have been gang-related.
