Fire damaged four units of a three-story apartment building in Hollywood where two people were treated for smoke inhalation, but no other injuries were reported, Los Angeles Fire Department officials said Sunday.
The fire was reported at 11:22 p.m. Saturday at 7230 W. Franklin Ave., LAFD spokeswoman Lyndsey Lantz said.
It took more than 50 firefighters 41 minutes to put out the flames, using roof ventilation to reach the interior of the building, she said.
The cause remains under investigation.
