A murder suspect who was shot by police was in the hospital after a chase that ended Friday morning near a shopping center in Glendora near San Dimas.
Glendora Police Department officers and deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department began pursuing the suspect just after midnight on Friday. The chase ended near the intersection of 1385 East Gladstone Street and North Shellman Avenue, south of the Glendora Marketplace Shopping Center and at some point the officers opened fire on the suspect, ABC 7 reported.
Officers were able to box in the suspect’s vehicle within the shopping center when the shooting occurred.
The victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, ABC 7 said.
It was not immediately known who initiated the shooting.
