A 20-year-old motorcyclist suffered critical injuries Friday in a collision with a pickup truck in Garden Grove.
Officers responded to the 12500 block of Magnolia Street shortly after 1 p.m. Friday regarding a collision involving a 2023 Black Chevrolet Silverado and a 2018 Silver Aprilia RSV4 motorcycle, according to the Garden Grove Police Department.
Orange County Fire Authority personnel arrived a short time later and began rendering life-saving measures to the motorcyclist, who was unresponsive before their arrival.
He was taken to a trauma center, where he was listed in critical condition, authorities said.
Police said the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers during the investigation.
Detectives did not determine that alcohol or drugs were a factor leading to the collision, police said.
