An at-risk 67-year-old woman was reported missing after last being seen Wednesday in La Quinta, prompting the activation of a Silver Alert.
Jeri Chamberlin was last seen shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday near Muirfield Village and Golf View Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.
Chamberlin was described as a 5-foot-5-inch-tall woman weighing 110 pounds with gray hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue sandals.
Anyone with information regarding Chamberlin’s whereabouts was urged to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled, or cognitively impaired individuals.
