A man was shot to death Sunday inside a 7-Eleven store in Lawndale.
The shooting was reported about 8:05 p.m. Sunday at 15809 Prairie Ave., at Manhattan Beach Boulevard, Lt. Jose Salgado of the South Los Angeles Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Salgado said. He was not a clerk at the convenience store. His identity was not immediately released.
Two men were seen fleeing the store, he said. It was not yet known if they were suspects.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives were dispatched to the crime scene, Salgado said.
